Executive Summary

Laser aiming devices for explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) percussion actuated non-electric (PAN) disrupters, herein referred to as laser aiming devices, are sighting mechanisms used by bomb technicians to quickly and accurately aim a disrupter at a target. In June 2012, the System Assessment and Validation for Emergency Responders (SAVER) Program conducted a comparative assessment of laser aiming devices that fit over the barrel of the Ideal Products Inc. 12 Gauge PAN Disrupter™.
