Fiber Optic Kits Assessment Report Summary

Executive Summary

In June 2011, the System Assessment and Validation for Emergency Responders (SAVER) Program conducted a comparative assessment of fiber optic kits to provide emergency responders with information that will assist with making operational and procurement decisions. Fiber optic kits are valuable tools that are used by emergency responders for surveillance and inspection operations. The fiber optic kits considered for this assessment contain a scope with a monitor, various accessories, and a storage/carrying case.
