Technologies for Critical Incident Preparedness Conference and Exhibition 2008

Date: October 29-31, 2008
Location: Hyatt Regency Chicago, Chicago, IL 60601

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Justice Programs' National Institute of Justice (NIJ), DHS's Science and Technology Directorate, and DoD's Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense and Americas' Security Affairs, in association with CTC, Inc.-Public Safety Technology Center (CTC), presents the 9th Annual Technologies for Critical Incident Preparedness Conference and Exposition.

This 10th annual conference provides DOJ, DHS and DoD the opportunity to highlight the technology and training tools currently available and being developed for the emergency responder community and to elicit responder technology requirements. It provides a forum for responders to discuss best practices and exchange information. Expected to draw 1,500 attendees and 150 exhibits, this three-day conference will bring together key leaders and decision makers--offering responders, business and industry, academia, and Federal, State, tribal and local stakeholders a unique forum to network, exchange ideas, and collaboratively address critical incident technology and preparedness needs, protocols, and solutions.
