Coalition Building

The CyberScience Laboratory (CSL) works closely with agencies such as the U.S.S.S. Electronic Crimes Task Forces and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Cyber Division. Intern Program

The CSL's Embedded Intern Program provides a unique opportunity for high school, undergraduate and graduate students to gain hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity at various law enforcement agencies nationwide. The foundation of this program is a joint venture between academia and both the public and private sectors in an effort to expose students to a challenging experience in support of cybersecurity developments. Schools solicited to date include: Utica College, Syracuse University, University of Arizona, Florida Atlantic University, Champlain College, Carnegie Mellon University, Dartmouth College, Stanford University, State University of New York (SUNY IT, Morrisville, and Albany), Sage College, Hilbert College, University of Dayton School of Law and Eastern Kentucky University. For more information about the CSL Embedded Intern Program, please contact Robert DeCarlo, Jr at robert@dolphtech.com.

Information Clearinghouse

The CSL Web Environment, www.cybersciencelab.com, is used as a national resource center in the cybersecurity arena. It provides users with contact information for individuals and agencies nationwide, current cyber related events, and detailed information regarding a myriad of different cybersecurity based hardware and software programs. This web environment also includes CSL functional analysis reports on various cybersecurity tools, discussion forums, briefings and presentations, downloadable resources, technical reports, and links to hundreds of relevant websites. The CSL web environment has both a public area, which is open to all visitors, and a private area which is restricted to vetted users.

In July 2006 the CSL integrated a webinar capability into the CSL Web Environment. This technology enables the CSL to present interactive web based seminars, lectures, and workshops. The full streaming capability provides users the ability to view both live and on demand seminars and briefings on topics relating to cybersecurity.
